A working system—not a feature sample
What the Free Version is designed to do.
CertWright brings certificate administration together inside WordPress, so you do not have to manually copy names, prepare PDFs, attach files to emails and answer every verification request yourself.
1
Connect the form you already use
Choose an available form-maker integration and connect its fields to the information CertWright needs.
CertWright does not make visitors complete a second certificate application. You select the form that already collects the recipient’s details and map its name, email and other fields to the certificate record.
The mapping system accommodates a single full-name field as well as forms that collect given, middle and family names separately. Once the mapping is saved, the submitted information can be placed in the correct certificate fields automatically.
The integrations available in the installed release appear directly in the Form Mapping screen. An administrator can select and configure the appropriate connection without editing code.
Your certificate design
Create a certificate that belongs to your organisation.
Add your organisation’s name, logo, authorised representative, signature, certificate background and an optional transparent border or frame. Write the certificate heading and achievement wording in your own language and style.
Choose portrait or landscape orientation in one place, upload a background that matches that orientation and use the Template Designer to position the certificate number, heading, recipient name, wording, mapped form information, signatures and QR code.
The saved template controls the consistent appearance of certificates generated from that design.
Your own wording and certificate headline
Portrait or landscape layout
Required full-page background image
Optional transparent frame
Movable and resizable certificate elements
2
Generate a numbered PDF automatically
Each successful certificate can be created from the submitted information and the design you saved.
When a correctly mapped form is submitted, CertWright creates the certificate record and generates its PDF. Each certificate receives its own number, using the numbering rules and prefix configured by the administrator.
The submitted information is placed into the mapped areas of the certificate rather than being retyped. Certificates issued from the same design therefore follow the same layout, wording and numbering rules.
The PDF becomes part of the certificate record. An authorised administrator can view or download it and, when an appropriate correction is required, regenerate the PDF while retaining the certificate’s identity and verification record.
Reliable delivery
Email the certificate without losing track of it.
CertWright can place each certificate email into a visible delivery queue. The recipient receives a message with the generated PDF attached, while the administrator can see whether the delivery is pending, processing, completed or failed.
If an email fails temporarily, the queue supports retry processing. Logs and diagnostic information help distinguish between a CertWright problem and an external mail or SMTP problem.
Your WordPress website must still have correctly configured outgoing email. CertWright manages the certificate delivery process, but it cannot correct an invalid mailbox password, blocked server or incorrect SMTP setting.
3
A visible email queue
Administrators can review delivery status, process pending work and investigate failed messages instead of wondering whether a certificate email was sent.
Verification and control
Prove that a certificate is genuine.
A PDF can be copied or altered. CertWright supports verification by connecting the document to a certificate record held on the issuing organisation’s website.
Public verification
A visitor can search for a certificate and confirm whether the issuing website recognises it. The result shows the certificate’s current status rather than relying only on the appearance of the PDF.
QR-code access
The certificate can include a QR code leading to its verification information, so the person checking it does not need to manually type a long address.
Status and revocation
If a certificate must no longer be treated as valid, an administrator can change its status. The public result then reflects the organisation’s current record.
Day-to-day administration
Manage the complete certificate record in WordPress.
The Free Version gives authorised administrators a searchable certificate list rather than leaving them with an unstructured folder of PDF files. Records can be found using the certificate number and relevant recipient information.
An administrator can open a record, view or download its PDF, inspect delivery information, regenerate the document when appropriate, update its status and review logs when something goes wrong.
Diagnostic reports make support more practical by collecting information about the certificate, database, PDF generation or delivery path involved.
You remain in control
The certificate data and generated records remain with your WordPress installation. CertWright does not require a paid licence merely to keep certificates valid.
Certificates already issued are not invalidated because you do not purchase Pro.
Free means complete
Why is there a Pro version?
Pro is intended for organisations whose certificate operations have grown beyond a straightforward programme. It adds scale, automation and reusable programme controls rather than charging for the essential ability to create and verify a certificate.
If the Free Version handles your organisation’s workload, continue using it. Upgrade when bulk work, reusable branding profiles, advanced controls or additional website activations save enough time to justify the annual subscription.
No licence key for the Free Version
No expiry built into issued certificates
Upgrade only when Pro provides value
